Ed Maliszewski

Ed Maliszewski was the son of Peter Maliszewski, who was the cofounder and owner of Maliszewski Furniture on Chene. The store was there for a very long time and Ed took it over after his father passed, although he never owned it. The store belonged to his mother after his father died. The interview is terrific because Ed is candid and doesn’t mince words. I conducted the interview in his modest Grosse Pointe condo in January 2003.
