Henrietta Nowakowski

Is the daughter of Ignacy and Aniela Zapytowski. Both parents were deeply involved in Polish activities from the First World War through the interwar years and during and after WW II. She had a huge archive that I went through and photographed before she gave it, I believe, to the Orchard Lake Polonia Archives. I visited her home many times, systematically going through the archive. I interviewed Ms. Nowakowska at her home in Dearborn Heights in January 2004.
