Klara Jackowski

This was one of the earliest interviews I did. Mr. Jackowski worked at Sfire Brothers, an Arab owned food market on Chene. Clara Jackowski worked at the Mazer Cigar factory as a young woman. Some very good and amusing stories. Both were in their late 80s when I interviewed them. They remembered the 20s and 30s on Chene vividly. The interviews were conducted in September 2002 and November 2002.
