Natalie Motyka

Ms. Motyka was born in Germany (to an Italian mother) and was adopted by a Serbian father and Polish mother. She grew up in the Chene Street neighborhood. A very emotional and comprehensive interview that touches on family, school and neighborhood experiences. Ms. Motyka’s son, a rising rock musician, was murdered several years ago in Detroit. The interview was conducted in May 2014.
