Three panelists will discuss the intersection of law, policy, and urban agriculture and the legal and political hurdles they have navigated as a result.
- Nicholas Leonard, Michigan Law ’14, is an attorney at the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center. He is dedicated to using the legal system to empower the citizens of Detroit to revitalize their communities.
- Meghan Masson-Minnock, an urban planner at ENP & Associates, specializes in urban agriculture.
- Alicia Alvarez is a Michigan Law Professor & Director of the Community and Economic Development Clinic. She has done extensive work with urban farms.
