Summer Internship Fellowship – Sustainable Food Systems Initiative

Summer Internship Fellowship

The Sustainable Food Systems Initiative (SFSI) Summer Internship Fellowship aims to make low-paying or unpaid summer internships in food systems more accessible to University of Michigan Master-level graduate students, with the goal of lowering the barriers to diverse career exploration. The Fellowship is available to current Master’s students in any program at the University of Michigan. Internships can take place in the US or international locations, can be paid or unpaid, and must be with organizations (or farms) that are under-resourced and who focus on efforts to build health-promoting, equitable, and/or ecologically sound food systems.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until funding runs out. Students must contact organizations themselves or work with career services staff in their respective units to apply to internships.
