This session explores the intersections of public health nutrition, health equity, and weight stigma. Deanna defines and discusses the importance of cultural humility and developing identity awareness and building cultural humility skills. Attendees gained an understanding about the importance of diversifying dietetics and healthcare to advance food literacy and health equity.
