Course Intro | “Setting the Table for Health Equity”

Food Literacy for All 2020 was kicked off by the course leadership team: Jerry Ann Hebron, Cindy Leung, Devita Davison, Lilly Fink Shapiro, and Winona Bynum. In this session, speakers discussed what it means to “Set the Table for Health Equity” and gave a preview of the range of topics and guest speakers who will join us this semester. This session connects the dots between food systems, food security, and social determinants of health, as speakers discuss what these concepts look like in a community context both on campus and in Detroit.
