Student Organizations

The University of Michigan has several student organizations that take a different approach to examining “the Greek life” from the campus’ many fraternities and sororities. The Hellenic Student Association (HSA) represents students of Greek ethnic origin and promotes Hellenic culture on the U-M Ann Arbor campus. The Classical Archaeology Club engages undergraduates interested in discussing their own archaeological interests, knowledge, and research with students and faculty from the many homes of archaeology on campus. There is also a U-M chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, a nationally recognized honorary collegiate society for students of Latin and/or Greek, and Factio, which is another student-run organization that produces social events geared towards undergraduates with a passion for Classics.
