In 2015, Greek life celebrated its 170th year of existence on the University of Michigan campus, making its an integral part of the Michigan experience from its early origins. Many of the fraternity and sorority houses on or around campus are Greek Revival constructions, boasting miniature classical columns and displaying proudly the Greek letters of the chapters housed inside.
